Our Institute has a special dedication to the study of theology. In our own formation, it is held in high esteem. A deep love for the Church and the fidelity toward its Magisterium inspire our studies.
As disciples learning from their Teacher, we seek to participate in creative environments that offer something truly new and enriching for the Church. We seek to insert ourselves and become a part of a tradition, of a “school” in which we can grow as theologians and where we can help others do so.
The disciples that are dedicated to teaching theology at the university level seek two things: to study in friendship and to work in communion with others. Fruit of this work done in communion is our Didaskalos book collection. In this spirit of fidelity and novelty, we have addressed decisive ideas such as education, the heart as expression of the person, the creative minorities, and the truth.
Currently, we serve the Church as professors as well as in other academic-related offices. A few of the disciples hold such positions for Studies on Marriage and Family in Rome, Madrid and Valencia. They also offer courses in other sections of the same Institute in the United States, India, Australia, as well as in other countries in South America, Central Europe, and Africa. Other members of the Institute are professors at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and at the Ecclesiastical University of St. Damasus in Madrid.
